To create the mini album, I used cd's as a base for the pages. As many of you will probably recognize, the paper I used was Graphic 45's "Curtain Call". I decided to add a splash of red, and created all of the flowers using organza and satin fabric and Tim Holtz's tattered florals die. I really like how the grunge and glitzy sparkle work together in this mini. It's definitely my favourite so far :)
I will be selling a pattern for this little beauty, but I'm not quite finished writing it yet. It should be done within the next couple of weeks. I'll post a video on my YouTube channel showing all the details once it's done ;)
Cheers!
Monique

ReplyDeleteMonique....Truly AWESOME!!! love your work, you have great talent! Just purchased the camera instructions and are looking forward to this pattern! These projects will make great gifts for my adult sons come Christmas. One son always has a camera in his hand and the other son has many antiques. Can't wait to get started! Sandra Joy

ReplyDeleteHi Monique, You're an engineer! Imagine that. My favorite artist made the most beautiful paintings of our historic homes etc. (Charleston, SC) I could only get prints as his originals were way out of my price range. But they are still lovely. I love your mini using the cd's. Oddly enuf, I just came across a batch of them and have been wondering how to bind them into a mini. And there you are! I love the way people find each other! I'm glad I came over to say hi. And I'll be back, Hugs Jess
ReplyDeleteHi Monique, This is simply gorgeous! See you later over at MAS
